Welcome to the blog of the Water Rats second great adventure, Ireland End to End - from Mizen Head to Malin Head. Around 450 miles in 6 days cycling. Last year we did Lands End to John O'Groats (see link to the blog in Rat Web Links) - 930 miles in 8 days cycling. So Ireland should be a doddle.
We are all from the Water Rats swimming club based in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. As you have probably worked out already quite a few of us are also into cycling and triathlon
Was the water cold? You look as if its not too cold - at least you don't have to shower tonight. Regards to all and hope Celia enjoyed her trip to hairdresser and massage - trust she was the one who had a pampering day! Gordon you are braver than your Dad he wouldn't even have dipped his toe in.
