Welcome to the blog of the Water Rats second great adventure, Ireland End to End - from Mizen Head to Malin Head. Around 450 miles in 6 days cycling. Last year we did Lands End to John O'Groats (see link to the blog in Rat Web Links) - 930 miles in 8 days cycling. So Ireland should be a doddle.
We are all from the Water Rats swimming club based in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. As you have probably worked out already quite a few of us are also into cycling and triathlon

Fit Gordon
Just in case anyone was worried about Gordie's state after yesterday's ride. Here he is in fine fettle after today's ride.
