Welcome to the blog of the Water Rats second great adventure, Ireland End to End - from Mizen Head to Malin Head. Around 450 miles in 6 days cycling. Last year we did Lands End to John O'Groats (see link to the blog in Rat Web Links) - 930 miles in 8 days cycling. So Ireland should be a doddle.
We are all from the Water Rats swimming club based in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. As you have probably worked out already quite a few of us are also into cycling and triathlon
Glad to see Professor Dart in the picture for a change. I was beginning to tink the Rats had left him at Mizzen Head or he had been kidnapped by the Leprechauns....... To be shure!
I don't believe it - one of my favourite places in Ireland. Kinvarra, famous for its hookers, is a beautiful place. Before you get too excited hookers are a type of long-boat...
